Dear NTP Family,

Our beloved friend, Dianne Geiger passed away Friday, November 15. As the board treasurer of New Tampa Players for the last fifteen years, Dianne handle our never-ending stacks of checks, receipts, and bills—quietly and persistently working in the background even as the company grew and the flow of paperwork increased.

We may need five people to handle her work, but it’s impossible to fill her place. Dianne was kind, generous, and loving to everyone she met. She was the encouraging voice on the phone at the end of a hard day. For those who knew her for many years, she became the cheerleader in our head telling us we could handle whatever we were facing. Dianne put her hope in Jesus, and she shared God’s love wherever she went through encouragement and service.

Dianne’s family has asked that those who wish to make a gift in her memory donate to New Tampa Players in lieu of sending flowers. I am honored and humbled as we continue the work that Dianne was proud to be part of. One way I know we’re doing good in the world is by the good people who share in it.
