Auditions for The Amish Project

New Tampa Players is seeking a dedicated and exceptional actress (18+) with excellent memorization skills and the ability to create multiple characters for their upcoming production of The Amish Project by Jessica Dickey. The Amish Project is a fictional exploration of the Nickel Mines schoolhouse shooting in an Amish community, and the path of forgiveness and compassion forged in its wake.

Rehearsals will begin on March 22, 2021 over zoom and will move to in person rehearsals at the theatre near USF on April 5, 2021. All standard social distancing protocols will be in place for rehearsals and performances.

Auditions Submissions Deadline is March 14, 2021.
Mandatory Tech Rehearsals are May 2 – May 6, 2021
Mandatory Performance Dates are May 7, 8, 14, 15, and 16.

This show contains adult content and language and deals with extremely sensitive subject matter involving religion, school shooting, childhood, and death.

Seeking: 1 Female Actor with the skill and ability to play 7 different characters in this one-woman show with the ability to connect emotionally and work through some very tough emotional moments. A great memorization ability is a must, the show is a one act, 90 minutes.
